A downloadable solo journalling game

This game will be available in the charity bundle for the Cozy Cat Jam - coming soon!

-----

A beautiful white cat sits on a plush throne, a heart-shaped locket around their neck.

The cat was once a human, the exquisite child of a queen who promised them to the fae in exchange for enchanted fruit. The fae took the queen's heir and raised them in a tower that could only be accessed via a single window. When the child came of age, they arranged a marriage to a fae king, but the heir did not love him. Instead, they had fallen in love with a brave hunter who frequently passed by the tower and climbed to their window. They were careless, however, and were caught together. The fae killed the hunter and banished the heir to an ever-changing castle hidden deep in the woods, transforming them and and their attendants into cats. They would only be free of the curse when they found someone identical to their former lover, the reincarnation of their one true love.

This game is inspired by the fairytale The White Cat (French: La Chatte Blanche), Public Domain, written by Madame d'Aulnoy and published in 1698.

Play from the perspective of The Cat as they roam their labyrinthine prison. Use the imagery of tarot cards combined with prompts to inform the ever-changing rooms and passages, inspire memories, or represent visitors. Flip coins to overcome challenges within the mercurial castle with feline grace or fae magic. Meet potential suitors and await the arrival of their one true love.
